Harry McScary is a collaborative game that was expertly constructed by Ella, Easton, and Emmie VerLee πŸŽ‰.

Additionally Mom provided audio engineering support and Dad managed to pluck the right keys to form coherent JavaScript. This project was created during the 2021 Christmas season πŸŽ„.

For the family πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦ the goal was to create a game our kids could help design, shifting gaming to be a more creative rather than consuming endeavor. Further, we wanted it to be a single-screen multiplayer collaborative game to emphasize in-person teamwork.

For the πŸ€“... Harry McScary uses the JavaScript-based Phaser engine. Major props to Phaser's first game tutorial and Super Tommy's modern adaptation of Phaser for making it so easy to step into JavaScript game development with Phaser.

The project is open source and available on GitHub 😺.
